Biography
Emily specializes in supporting adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples as they navigate life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges. Her approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from a range of interventions including art therapy techniques, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness-based practices. Many clients come to therapy feeling unsure of who they are or how to use their voice after years of being shaped by expectations from family, culture, relationships, or broader systems. At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to helping clients reconnect with their inner voice—especially when it has been quieted by anxiety, depression, grief, or environments that have told them who they should be.
Emily views therapy as a collaborative and affirming process, walking alongside clients as they explore identity, emotions, values, and how they want to show up in their lives and relationships. Adolescence and young adulthood can be particularly complex periods of growth, marked by self-discovery, change, and uncertainty. She works alongside clients to build confidence in expressing thoughts, emotions, and needs in a world that can feel loud and opinionated. With couples, she supports partners in strengthening communication, deepening understanding, and creating space for each person’s voice to be heard within the relationship.
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and simply exploring options is a meaningful first step. She welcomes clients to connect and explore how therapy can support healing, growth, and overall wellness.
