Biography
Emily is completing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling through the University of the Cumberlands. Taking a person-centered approach to counseling, Emily is committed to ensuring each individual feels seen, heard, and valued. She is passionate about and equipped to support individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, identity exploration, grief and loss, and stress or burnout. Emily values creativity and seeks to provide a non-judgmental, genuine, and empathetic space for the therapeutic work to be done.

Outside of her professional work, Emily enjoys anything creative, such as crocheting or writing, and doing anything outside, such as walking her two dogs or learning to play tennis.
Emily Co-hosts a four-week Mindfulness Psychoeducation Group where she will teach the basics of mindfulness as a means of regulation. This group is designed for any adults who may benefit and is not meant to address severe mental health concerns. Open to all 18+
