Sara Cooley

Sara Cooley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional specializing in adolescents and adults struggling with life’s challenges. She has worked within inpatient hospital, school, and outpatient clinic settings with a variety of issues from stress, self-esteem, relationship problems, boundary setting, grief and loss, psychosis, depression, self harm/suicidal ideation, anxiety, trauma, and more. Sara utilizes various types of therapeutic techniques. She emphasizes therapy as a collaborative partnership between the client and therapist. She takes a person-centered approach to the therapy process to make it beneficial and unique for each individual. Her goal is to empower her clients and help them improve their mental health and wellness.

Sara earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Western Michigan University. She continues to engage in additional training to further expand her ability to help each individual.
