Lesley Menhart, a compassionate therapist, empowers clients to embrace their strengths as a foundation for healing. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and adult ADHD, she employs versatile approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. Lesley offers her support to adults, elders, sexual abuse and domestic violence survivors, and embraces a diverse range of clients. She creates an inclusive environment, where clients actively participate in their healing journey, ensuring their voices and goals are at the forefront. Lesley accepts ASR, BCN, BCBS, and Priority Health insurances for accessible care.
Lesley Menhart works with clients to find their strengths and discover an approach that will build from those strengths toward healing with therapy. She encourages clients to have an active voice in treatment and to be involved in the goal setting. She offers a variety of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and others. Her goal is to help clients overcome obstacles and heal. Lesley Menhart has worked in a variety of mental health systems including the court system, substance abuse, community mental health, residential care, long term care for elders and domestic violence/sexual abuse/assault outpatient care. Lesley Menhart has worked as a provider in outpatient private practice since 2009. Lesley Menhart received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 1993.
