In Lesley Menhart’s office, clients experience a strengths based approach to healing. Everyone has a strength, Lesley works with clients to find that strength and discover an approach that will build from it to best meet a client’s particular needs. Lesley offers a variety of therapeutic methods –  CBT, play therapy, neurofeedback and many others. Her goal is to help clients overcome obstacles and heal. Lesley can help children, adults and families with the following issues:

Special Services:

  • Neurofeedback – Neurofeedback is an interactive, graphics based approach to improving brain function. Neurofeedback has been used to successfully treat mental health and wellness issues (like ADD/ADHD and depression) as well as brain injuries.
  • Crisis Management and Stress Debriefing for Businesses – These services can help employers provide support to employees in the case of loss, trauma or conflict in the work place.

Lesley received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. She served as Lead Faculty for the Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences program for the University of Phoenix in Grand Rapids, Lansing and Kalamazoo. She has provided lectures and educational programs on a wide range of issues in the area.
