Jennifer Flanders, LMSW

Jennifer Flanders

Jennifer Flanders takes a very person-centered approach with clients and uses mindfulness-informed practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is passionate about providing education and support to postpartum moms and ensuring they obtain the help they need during what can sometimes be a difficult life transition. She is also interested in continuing to work with clients experiencing psychosis, as well as those such as the newly bereaved or recently divorced, who feel their day-to-day life experiences differ significantly from those around them.

Jennifer integrates mindfulness into much of her clinical practice, partially because of the wealth of science that supports its benefits, and also because she has personally experienced the benefits of growing her own awareness of her thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, decreasing judgment and increasing acceptance.
