New Era Elementary

Tuesday, 9/25: 5:30-8 PM

Kids…Screens…Media…Games…Internet. When you mix all those things together, it’s a recipe for real problems. And, grown-ups are part of it, too! This workshop explores how today’s technology is impacting families in unhealthy ways and gives suggestions on how to create healthy interactions with screens and all that comes with it.

A light meal will be provided. Registration is required. To find out more or to register, call the Fountain Hill Center at (616) 456-1178.

Each of these workshops makes use of the Positive Discipline curriculum. Positive Discipline values teaching important social and life skills in a manner that is deeply respectful and encouraging for both children and adults. Parenting with Positive Discipline means being kind and firm at the same time, an effective parenting strategy that helps children feel a sense of connection to parents and caregivers, as well as a sense of belonging and significance.
