The Fountain Hill Center is looking for an experienced and self-directed bookkeeper to manage the financial health of our growing nonprofit collective. The Bookkeeper coordinates with our Executive Coordinator, Office Manager, and administrative staff on banking, billing, budgeting, expense tracking, management of client accounts, and payroll. Also assists with general office administration, including greeting clients, answering phones, processing payments, and scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and time-management skills, as well as the ability to discharge responsibilities with discretion and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, reliable
  • Committed to preserving and protecting client confidentiality in accordance with all applicable HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards
  • Able to cope with distractions and interruptions, juggle multiple tasks with various deadlines
  • Aligned with The Fountain Hill Center’s mission, vision, principles, and values

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
  • Comfortable interacting with and serving diverse populations
  • Previous experience working in a nonprofit setting
  • Proficient in Salesforce data entry, creating and pulling reports
  • Personal interest in community health, healthcare service delivery, mental healthcare
