As of June, 2012, and for at least the two years following, Kevin DeKam will be on leave from the Fountain Hill Center while serving in the mission field in Zambia. Kevin DeKam is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working with individuals and families for over a decade and with the Fountain Hill Center since 2006. Trained and oriented in family systems, his practice is largely focused on relationship issues. He also provides individual counseling to children, adolescents and adults on a variety of personal issues and he offers some court-related services.
Kevin worked for over 8 years with abused and neglected children in the Kent County Child Welfare System, providing a foundation for his work with children and with families, but also for his focus in the area of trauma. As a husband and father, Kevin has a particular interest in working with boys and men of all ages and with father/son relationships. Kevin also welcomes the integration of faith and spirituality in the counseling process.
